We are pleased to announce that the Tobacco and Tobacco Substitute Products Testing Department of “FDA Laboratory” LLC has successfully completed the accreditation process conducted by the “Uzbekistan Accreditation Center” State Institution (O'zbekiston akkreditatsiya markazi), in compliance with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025:2019 management system.

As a result of this accreditation, the laboratory has been registered in the National Register of Uzbekistan and is authorized to perform laboratory testing of tobacco and tobacco substitute products manufactured in Uzbekistan in the following areas:

▪️ Measurement of cigarette and filter tip lengths
▪️ Determination of moisture
▪️ Determination of water content in smoke condensate
▪️ Determination of wet and nicotine-free dry condensate Determination of wet and nicotine-free dry condensate (tar) content in cigarette smoke using a laboratory smoking machine,
▪️ Measurement of carbon monoxide content in the gas phase of cigarette smoke
▪️ Determination of the mass of tobacco in consumer packaging
▪️ Determination of carbon monoxide content
▪️ Determination of nitrogen oxide and nitrogen oxides content
▪️ Determination of nicotine content in smoke condensate

This achievement is an important step toward strengthening future cooperation and ensuring the provision of high-quality laboratory services.
