Laboratory testing of tobacco substitute products is now available in the Republic of Armenia and the region.

The Tobacco Testing Department of FDA LAB will henceforth perform laboratory testing of tobacco substitute products, including electronically operated products that do not contain tobacco raw material, nicotine-containing products (NCPs), liquid cartridges, and heated tobacco products.

During testing, the following parameters will be determined in the aerosol of electronic cigarettes:
• Carbon monoxide (CO)
• Glycerin
• Nicotine
• Propylene glycol
• Water

FDA LAB is the only laboratory in the Republic of Armenia and the region performing laboratory testing of electronic cigarettes.
