LABORATORY TESTING OF BRANDY AND VODKA

Objective of Laboratory Testing

Laboratory testing of brandy and vodka is conducted to assess compliance with the safety and quality parameters established by the applicable EAEU technical regulations.

Key Test Parameters

In accordance with Technical Regulation CU TR 021, laboratory testing includes the following key parameters:

CHEMICAL PARAMETERS

• Determination of Free and Total Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) Mass Concentration• Determination of Lead (Pb) and Cadmium (Cd) Content• Determination of Mercury (Hg) and Arsenic (As) Content• Determination of Toxic Element Content, Including Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), and Aluminum (Al)• Determination of Alcoholic Strength (% v/v)• Determination of Alkalinity• Determination of Furfural Content• Determination of Free Acid Content• Determination of Oxidizability• Determination of Methanol Content• Determination of Fusel Oil and Higher Alcohol Content, Including 1-Propanol, 2-Propanol, Isobutanol, Isoamyl Alcohol, 1-Butanol, and 2-Butanol• Determination of Acetaldehyde Content• Determination of Ester Content• Determination of Acetic Acid and Propionic Acid Content• Determination of Volatile Compound Content• Determination of Sugar Content, Including Glucose, Fructose, and Sucrose• Determination of Phenolic and Furan Compound Content• Other Relevant Parameters

Provision of Test Results

Based on the test results, the laboratory issues an official test report

Declaration Process

The test report issued by “FDA Laboratory” LLC is an official document that enables the organization of the product declaration process.

“FDA Laboratory” LLC cooperates with the Product Certification Body of “Certification and Quality” LLC, which, within the scope of its accreditation, issues EAC or AST (Technical Regulation of Armenia) Declarations of Conformity.
