Laboratory Testing of Beer

Objective of Laboratory Testing

Beer testing is conducted to assess compliance with the safety and quality parameters established by the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) technical regulations.
The test results may be used in certification procedures, as well as to ensure the lawful import, export, and circulation of the product on the domestic market.

Key Test Parameters

Within the scope of laboratory testing of beer, physicochemical, microbiological, and heavy metal content parameters are evaluated. The list of parameters may vary depending on the product composition, manufacturing technology, and intended use.

CHEMICAL PARAMETERS

• Determination of Lead (Pb) and Cadmium (Cd) Content• Determination of Mercury (Hg) and Arsenic (As) Content• Determination of Deoxynivalenol (DON, Vomitoxin) Content• Determination of T-2 Toxin Content• Determination of Zearalenone Content• Determination of Ochratoxin A Content• Determination of DDT and Its Metabolites• Determination of Hexachlorocyclohexane (HCH) (α-, β-, γ-Isomers)• Determination of Ethyl Alcohol (Ethanol) Content• Determination of Methyl Alcohol (Methanol) Content• Determination of Aflatoxin B1 ContentAnd Other Relevant Parameters

MICROBIOLOGICAL PARAMETERS

• Determination of the total count of Mesophilic Aerobic and Facultative Anaerobic Microorganisms• Determination of Coliform Bacteria• Detection of Salmonella spp.• Determination of Yeasts and MoldsAnd Other Microbiological Parameters

Provision of Test Results

Based on the test results, the laboratory issues an official test report.

Declaration Process

The test report issued by “FDA Laboratory” LLC is an official document that enables the organization of the product declaration process.

“FDA Laboratory” LLC cooperates with the Product Certification Body of “Certification and Quality” LLC, which, within the scope of its accreditation, issues EAC or AST (Technical Regulation of Armenia) Declarations of Conformity.
